The City expects developers, builders and property abutters to be among those bidding for a chance to buy real estate at below market value. “It’s going to be exciting and hugely beneficial event for the City of Springfield and it really represents opportunity to all potential bidders,” said Calvanese.
The Flynn Auction Company is advising interested parties to research city and public records to learn specific details about the property of their interest prior to the auction. A list of the properties to be auctioned can be accessed on-line at www.djflynn.com.
