SBA Disaster Center Update for Hampden and Worcester CountiesATLANTA, july 13, 2011 – The U.S. Small Business Administration announced today that the FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Worcester County will transition to SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) on Monday, July 18 at 9 a.m. and will remain open through Thursday, July 28. The establishment of the DLOC allows SBA to continue serving residents and businesses affected by the severe storms and tornadoes in Massachusetts that occurred on June 1, 2011. SBA’s Business Recovery Center in Hampden County will change their hours of operation effective Monday, July 18 to 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The locations and hours of operations of the Centers are as follows:
To obtain the locations of other recovery centers and program information call the SBA Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for people with speech or hearing disabilities) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET or send an e-mail to disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. Business loan applications may be downloaded from www.sba.gov. Applications may be returned to the Centers or mailed to: U. S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76155. Those impacted may also apply for disaster loans electronically from SBA’s website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/. The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is August 15, 2011. The deadline to return economic injury applications is March 15, 2012. |
