During a brief ceremony at Central High School library, Mayor Domenic J. Sarno proclaimed April 1st as Felicia Barron and George Hargrove Day. City and school officials, coaches, family and teammates honored the pair for their tremendous accomplishments as student athletes. Barron was recently named Gatorade Massachusetts basketball player of the year and Hargrove is the recipient of the 2008 Francis X. Keating Award, both are prestigious national awards.
