KISS Day Concert to Benefit Springfield Schools

Kiss Day (Kicking In for Springfield Schools) will feature music food and entertainment all day Saturday July 25, 2009 at Riverfront Park with proceeds benfiting the schools. Live bands will include Danny Klein of the J. Geils Band with his "Full House" band, Bay City Rollers featuring Ian Mitchell and All Systems Go from Westfield as well as a number of local bands. The day will also feature a softball tournament, side shows, clowns, face painting, acrobats, fire eaters, merchant tents and lots of food and fun activities for kids and adults. Stearns Square CityBlock Concert Series

The tenth annual season of Stearns Square CityBlock summer concert series offers city residents and visitors a free performance every Thursday night from June to September. This year’s 12-week schedule includes a varied lineup featuring styles ranging from blues, rock 'n roll and classic rock to R&B, pop and top 40s hits. Read more about the series.
