New Program Advances Efficiency in Government
(April 29, 2008) - Mayor Domenic J. Sarno, Finance Control Board Executive Director Stephen Lisauskas and Citistat Director Paul Foster will hold a press conference in the office of the Mayor on Wednesday, April 30th at 2 p.m.
During the press conference, city officials will unveil concrete examples of how Citistat, which was fully implemented in January, has already begun to increase efficiency in government.
Citistat serves as a transparent accountability and management tool that allows city employees to collect, analyze and use data in unprecedented ways. The implementation of CITISTAT is leading the City toward greater department performance improvements, a more timely response to citizen complaints and a tangible measurement of progress within city government operations.
