Simpsons update: the voting has ended

The votes have been tallied, and the winner of "The Simpsons Movie" video challenge is Springfield, Vermont. Many thanks to all of those who worked so hard on the video, and congratulations to our northern neighbors for bringing the premiere to New England. The contents of the Starter Kit

The contents of the Starter Kit were unveiled to the community  during a press conference in Court Square on May 24, just hours after the box arrived from 20th Century Fox.

These three local giants of the movie industry are commited to making Springfield, Massachusetts shine in the Simpsons contest.

David Horgan, a local movie producer, speaks with reporters. Horgan has volunteered his time and talent to coordinate the Simpsons project.
