What happens if I don’t pay the fee?

If you do not notify the city of your choice to participate in the city’s trash service and the city does not receive your payment after the first quarterly billing, the city will make other attempts to obtain your response, such as second bill and bin hangers.  If the city does not hear from you by June 22, 2007 and you have not made a payment, the city will assume that you are not participating in the city’s trash service.  After July 1, 2007, the city-issued trash container will be picked up by the city and the city will no longer provide the trash service at your property.
