Armoury Commons Park is located at the intersection of Spring and Pearl Streets in the Metro Center neighborhood of Springfield.  This project involved redesigning the park to reflect a change in usage.  There is a new passive recreation lower level courtyard with benches, an oval concrete path, a central sculpture and a new handicap accessible walkway. 

The upper level courtyard is complete with a working water fountain, game table area, new benches, and a new accessible drinking fountain.

This Metro Center gem is a central green space for gathering, socializing and resting.  The park was officially reopened on May 28, 2009 at 11am.
