Indian Orchard Riverfront ParkConsolidated Edison gifted a parcel of land between Water Street and the Chicopee River to the City for park development. With funding by a Community Development Block Grant, Indian Orchard Riverfront Park was established. This is a passive, linear park where pedestrians can gaze out at the river through vistas and sit and relax at one of the benches or picnic tables, or use the car-top boat ramp to launch a kayak or canoe and explore the Chicopee River. The boat ramp and parking area was designed by the State Office of Fishing and Boating Access (OFBA). The boat ramp facility is the property of the OFBA and they will bear the cost of maintanance of the ramp and accompanying parking area. Capital Construction Projects:
