Each non-exempt commercial or dwelling unit with city trash service carries a trash fee for each assigned container or dumpster space, unless you opt out of the city’s trash service. If you believe the city’s records for your property are incorrect, you must file the trash fee bill dispute form to receive the correct exemption.
We no longer require proof that you haul your own trash, including yard waste, including where and how it is disposed; or a copy of current written contract with a private hauler. You can also provide proof that your unit has been demolished, condemned or deemed uninhabitable.
