Due to numerous requests from the residents of Springfield, the DPW is pleased to announce that we have blue boxes available for free to residents of Springfield. you can obtain a blue recycling box in one of two ways.
- Call the Solid Waste Division at 787-6260. Give your name and address along with the number of bins you will require (Maximum 2 per household). You will receive your box within five days. If you work during the day, we recommend you use the next option because we cannot guarantee someone will not take a box left sitting outside.
- Blue boxes will be available at the DPW between the hours of 8:30 am. and 4:00 pm. You may pick one up at 70 Tapley Street.
