Pavement Management

Is your street on the list to be constructed? Our Pavement Management Program evaluates the condition of streets throughout the City and assigns a pavement condition index (PCI) to each street. This then allows the Department to determine what construction process is cost effective for each street. Then construction contracts are drafted for each type of construction using the streets with the highest priority (lowest PCI). There are other concerns however which factor into the process. Does the street have sewer problems? Are there future plans which may effect this street? Is all the work covered by Chapter 90 State Funds?
