Message from the President

Dear Golden Age Members,

I hope you all had a great summer. Our by-laws committee worked hard this summer and now it’s up to you the members to look them over and make changes. The changes will be voted on 3 times before they are voted into law.

As you know we are planning a Halloween Party on Friday, October 31, 2008 downtown at the department of Elder Affairs between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. It will be FREE, prizes will be given out for best costumes, and punch and cookies will be served. Should be a fun time for all.

A Christmas party for all the members is being held at the Huke lau with a cost of $26.00. Jenny Choiniere has made all the arrangement for December 17th, 2008. The food is very good and the show is fabulous. I hope you all join us. Kathleen Murphy is working on a raffle with great prizes.

The travel committee will be working on fun and affordable trips for next year.
