Message from the President

Dear Golden Age Members,

How time passes. I can't believe that my 3rd year as president is starting. A lot has happened since my first day. We have had picnics, bingos, Mardi Gras Parties with a belly dancer and a lot of good day trips. I am hoping to continue along those same lines this year

By visiting your clubs, I can see that you all are doing as well as can be expected for being seniors.

Here are some of the upcoming trips we have planned for 2012:

  • Lake George Luncheon Cruise -- Tuesday, August 28th, 2012
  • Salem Cross Inn -- Tuesday, September 18th, 2012
  • Platzl Brauhaus October Fest -- Tuesday, October 16th, 2012
  • Wright's Farm & LaSalette Shrine Display of Lights --                  Friday, November 30th, 2012

Springfield Golden Age Club

Dear Golden Age Members,

A big thanks to all of you who contributed so generously to the Animal Shelters. We Were able to collect $462.00, which we will split up between the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society shelter and the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center. We received thank you notes from both telling us how much they appreciated it.

We had to cancel the Rail and Sail trip in October due to lack of interest. We will be putting in another trip instead. We will announce shortly where we will be going.
