Stephen O’Malley

Chairman Board of Assessors, 2006-Present

Mr. O’Malley has over 25 years experience in assessment and real estate appraising. From 1983 to 1989 Mr. O’Malley served a member and then Chairman of the Springfield Board of Assessors. He left public service for the private sector to become Vice President of Appraisals for the R.J. Greeley Co. Inc. In 1994 Mr. O’Malley opened his own Real Estate Appraisal firm specializing in Commercial and Industrial Appraisals.

Mr. O’Malley holds a B.A. in History from Fairfield University, Fairfield Conn. and a M.A. in Corporate and Political Communications from Fairfield University. He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is also a CMA (Certified Massachusetts Assessor).
