Timothy J. Plante

Finance/Budget (Acting CFO), 2007- Present

Mr. Plante serves as the Finance/Budget Director and is the Acting Chief Procurement Officer for the City of Springfield. Prior to his work in Springfield Mr. Plante served as the Deputy Budget Director for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. In addition, he has also served as Legislative Director to the Senate Majority Leader Fred Berry, and also served as a Fiscal Policy Analyst/Manager for the Senate Committee on Ways and Means.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk University and a Bachelor Degree in both Political Science & Criminal Justice from Stonehill College.
