2008 Application for Abatement Forms

"The application deadline for Real Estate and Personal Property Overvalue Applications was February 1, 2008.  This filing deadline cannot be extended or waived by the Assessors for reason. If an application is not timely filed, you lose all rights to an abatement and the Assessors cannot, by law, grant you one"

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, the Assessors have 3 months from the date a valid application was filed in their office to act on it.  All applicants will be notified in writing whether and abatement has been granted or denied."
