Summer Pool Season Positions

The Summer Pool Season Positions help to oversee the four (4) pool sites in the City and Five Mile Pond swim site to ensure the safety of patrons within the community. Approximately 51,000 visitors utilized the summer pool sites last season. The positions involved with this program are listed below:

(1) Water Safety Director. $700/40 hour week. This position will assit to oversee and supervise the 4 pool sites and Five Mile Pond site used for the Swim Pool Program to ensure the safety of patrons within the community.

(8) Assistant Water Safety Director. $14.50/hour. Provides supervision and oversight to the Head Life Guards and Lifeguards.

(2) Head Life Guard. $10.00/hour. The function of these positions is to ensure the public has a safe and enjoyable experience while visiting at Five Mile Pond during the summer pool season.

(9) Head Life Guard. $10.00/hour. The function of these positions is to ensure the public has a safe and enjoyable experience while visiting the various City pool sites during the summer pool season.

(12) Life Guard. $9.00/hour. These positions ensure the public has a safe and enjoyable experience while visiting Five Mile Pond by providing continuous life guarding coverage during the summer pool season.

(49) Life Guard. $9.00/hour. These positions ensure the public has a safe and enjoyable experience while visiting the City's various pool sites by providing continuous life guarding coverage during the summer pool season.

(2) Therapuetic Life Guard. $9.00/hour. These positions provide a safe and enjoyable pool experience for the youth with varying physical, behavioral, and emotional limitations at the Therapuetic Recreation Summer Program.

(20) Bath Attendants. $8.00/hour. These position function to ensure the restrooms at the pool sites are up to health codes and are maintained on a daily basis.
