2007 Arterial Street Re-Surfacing List

Description:

The project calls for the reconstruction and/or resurfacing of primary arterial streets throughout the City. The scope of work will also include sidewalk, drainage, curbing and minor traffic signal work.

Funding for the program will be approximately $2.5 million per year for 3 years commencing in FY 2007.These monies will come from the city’s capital improvement project.

Status Report as of August 15, 2007:

• Allen, Oak, Oakland Streets and Roosevelt and Wilbraham Avenues have been completed.
• The resurfacing of Page Blvd is currently underway.
• Berkshire Avenue is slated to be completed by the end of September.
