This organization provides links to various resources for Massachusetts businesses and works with entrepreneurs in developing their business plan, evaluating proper financial strategies, and formulating a successful business structure.  The center is located at Scibelli Enterprise Center, which is at 1 Federal Street in Springfield.

MassDevelopment                                                                                           

This quasi-public agency is responsible for the fostering of real estate and business projects that has translated to more than $4 billion directly into the Massachusetts economy.  Mass Development can provide low interest rate loans, development strategies, and listings of available property for your business.

Mass Office of BusinessDevelopment                                                                 

The Mass Office of Business Development is a gateway to many resources for the business interest in Massachusetts.  They provide assistance to companies striving for expansion, financial incentives, human resources, and many other business needs.

Affiliated Chamber of Commerce of Greater Springfield, Inc.                         

The Affiliated Chamber of Commerce of Greater Springfield has been a tool for enhancing business development and viability for over 115 years.  The Chamber’s dynamic role of promoting, supporting, and educating the business community makes it a key resource for the region.

Brightwood Development Corporation

For over 20 years the Brightwood Development Corporation (BDC) has been serving small businesses in Springfield’s North End.  Focusing their attention on low-income persons and the Hispanic/Latino community, the BDC has built up partnerships with the several institutions to assist community development and to support the private interests in the neighborhoods they serve.

Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) provides important resources for interns, graduates, entrepreneurs, small businesses, and volunteers.

Massachusetts Latino Chamber of Commerce

The Latino Chamber of Commerce supports education and business opportunities, particularly in Western Massachusetts.  It has setup a network of partnerships with businesses and organizations throughout the region to best achieve their goal of assisting businesses, especially within the Latino communities.

Miller Development Enterprise, Inc.

Miller Development Enterprise is offering free and discounted estimating services for commercial buildings damaged by the Tornado. New England Black Chamber of Commerce, Inc.

The New England Black Chamber of Commerce (NEBCC) seeks to strengthen economic prowess and unity in the black community.  The NEBCC creates relationships between businesses, provides technical assistance, and acts as a strategic planner.

Regional Employment Board of Hamden County, Inc.

This company's main goal is to help develop workforce skills to meet the changing demand for labor.  The Regional Employment Board of Hamden County also provides information that connects job seekers with openings throughout the region.

Springfield Business Improvement District

Moving Springfield forward in entertainment, beautification, and marketing is the SBID’s business.  Advertising your business in the events, venues, and other attractions set up by the SBID can be a great way to expose yourself to the Greater Springfield community.

Western Massachusetts Economic Development Council                                

This council’s main interest is to provide expertise and guidance to resources that include business retention, business attraction, tourism, technology development, government affairs, and infrastructure.  Since 1996, the Western Massachusetts Economic Development Council has helped raise over $550 million state and private funds for economic development of Western Massachusetts.

Western Massachusetts Enterprise Fund, Inc.                                                   

The Western Massachusetts Enterprise Fund (WMEF) helps individuals and small businesses finance their business needs through loan programs and also provides technical assistance through collaboration with regional organizations.  Working with community banks and other financial lenders, the WMEF has helped over 325 small businesses acquire proper funding.

Westmass Area Development Corporation

The Westmass Area Development Corporation (Westmass) is an experienced regional, private not-for-profit industrial and business development corporation created to promote and assist business growth in western Massachusetts. The Westmass Area Development Corporation is pleased to offer their development expertise and immediate access to storage and warehouse space on a temporary basis to businesses affected by the tornado.

Small Business Administration

The Small Business Administration (SBA) was established by the Small Business Act of 1953.  Since then it has protected the interests of over 20 million businesses and helped small business recover from economic and natural disasters.  The SBA provides its services through an extensive network of offices as well as public and private partnerships
