Project Developer: WinnCompanies of Boston

Anticipated Start Date: Early 2009

Anticipated Completion: Early 2010

Over $4 million in public funding has been approved for a 109-unit affordable housing project in the Forest Park neighborhood.  WinnCompanies of Boston, the developer, anticipates the estimated $20 million project will begin in early 2009, with completion in 2010.

The plan is to demolish condemned and unstable buildings, create new parking, and set aside some remaining open land for sale to the city or surrounding property owners to redevelop.

Winn has successfully redeveloped properties throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, including Museum Park and Northern Heights in Springfield.
