Project Description/Status:

The former York Street jail was demolished in early 2008 leaving a 3.5 acre site along the Connecticut River and adjacent to I-91 available for development. The City is currently seeking interested parties in developing the site. The city is seeking development that would compliment the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame and the recent successful retail, restaurant and hotel development existing on the Riverfront.
