Description:
Astro Logistics, a chemical repackaging distribution company will purchase the former Hampden Color and Chemical tax title and brownfields site which they secured through city RFP process for $10,000. The company has spent the last 18 months and close to $3 million in private funds remediating and redeveloping the site. The City applied for and secured a US EPA $200,000 grant for cleanup of the site.

The company is scheduled to open the new facility in the Spring of 2007.
