Description:
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has chosen the former Springfield Technical High School site to house the new state data center. The $76 Million state data center is expected to create many jobs and construction of the data center will take about two years to complete.

The Department of Capital Asset and Management (DCAM) has contracted with the architectural firm of Jung Brannen as architect and a team of sub-contractors; the objective of that study was to develop a space program for the building, evaluate site conditions and establish feasibility and cost of the project as a basis for design.Design and permitting issues have progressed, including details and reviews of the historic facade treadment.
