City Of Springfield Announces 2013 Dog Licenses Now Available

April 1, 2013-Springfield, MA- City Clerk Wayman Lee announced today that dog licenses for the year 2013 (April 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014) are now available at the City Clerk Office, 36 Court Street, Room 123, Springfield, MA 01103 or by going to the City’s website 

The registration period is April 1 to May 31, 2013. The fees are $5 for sprayed or neutered dog and $25 for all other dogs. A late fee of $5 per month will be added for each dog not licensed on or after June 1, 2032. A current rabies vaccination is required and if you are registering by mail you must include a self-addressed stamped envelope. 

The city clerk’s office will also be posting a list of all registered and unregistered dogs for year 2012 (April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013) on the city’s website on or about July 1, 2013 based on information received from local veterinarian’s offices, stated City Clerk, Attorney Wayman Lee.
