Mayor Domenic Sarno, Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood, Fire Commissioner B. J. Calvi, and members of the Springfield Veterans Activities Committee will attend Annual Military and Emergency Responders Night, which honors the emergency first responders and active military personnel at the Bright Nights at Forest Park. Mayor Sarno states it’s so important to thank all our military and emergency responders for their continued brave and dedicated efforts. God Speed to them all.
Free admission will be given to active military, law enforcement officers, firefighters and emergency medical technicians, on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, from 5pm to 9pm. Bright Nights at Forest Park opened for its 25th season on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, and will operate through Sunday, January 5, 2020.
